Norfolk born Elizabeth Fry lived a life of sufficient importance to merit her image on the previous edition of our £5 note (superseded only by Churchill). In a Live History presentation by Georgette Vale we will join Mrs Fry in 1845 and hear tell of her life as a Quaker and her work as a prison reformer, philanthropist, anti-slavery campaigner and more besides.
