Sheringham History Group

If you have an interest in local history why not join us at our regular monthly meetings? We have a range of speakers on topics that generally have a bias towards Sheringham, North Norfolk or Norfolk county. Our recent talks include “Sheringham Park: 200 years as a working estate” , “Notorious Norfolk Murders“, “History of the Sheringham Fire and Rescue Service” and “North Norfolk at War 1939

We meet on the first Wednesday of most months at 7.00 for 7.30. Normally meeting are at the Sheringham Museum at the Mo, on the seafront.

We also arrange at least one visit each year  to a local site of historic interest. The  group holds a December social event at a local venue.
