As usual, our July meeting will be a visit to a local place of interest and this year we have arranged a visit to the Fakenham Museum of Gas and Local History on Wednesday 3rd July at 11am. PLEASE NOTE THE TIME.
The Museum charges an entrance fee is £5 per person for a group visit which is payable on arrival.
Non-members are very welcome to come along.
It would be helpful if you would let Nick Wallace know by the evening of Wednesday, 26th June if you plan to attend so that we can inform the Museum of the likely size of our group. (This is quite a small museum and so they need to know group sizes in advance). Please call him on 01263 822310.
The museum has a website which is a little out of date.
Getting there
You will need to arrange your own transport, sharing cars where possible.
For Satnav purposes the postcode for the museum is NR21 7LA and there is parking nearby
Public transport is available with Sanders Coaches and bus route 9 runs from Sheringham to Fakenham direct taking about an hour.
We look forward to what is promising to be a very interesting tour and hope to see as many of you there as possible.
