The Group’s AGM followed on from the talk by Lois Prismall.
Lois talked about homes in England during the Second World War.
Many re-enactors talk about the military side of the war but Lois concentrated on what life was like for those that stayed at home.
Lois brought a wide variety of items that could be found in ordinary homes during the War. Most items on display were genuine and those that were not were made to the correct specifications of that era.
Lois encouraged discussion and stories about the items on display and positively encouraged people to come up and touch the display. Many of the items on display could still be found in homes of the 50’s, 60’s and even the 70’s.
